Room Service Order Taker – 5-Star Hotel, Dubai

About the Role

Join our prestigious 5-star hotel in Dubai as a Room Service Order Taker. In this role, you will be the voice of our hotel, taking food and beverage orders from guests. You will work in a busy environment, ensuring that every order is handled with care and precision. This position requires excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Your shifts will typically be 8 hours, with opportunities for overtime during peak seasons. You will receive tips and service charges, enhancing your overall earnings. Meals are provided during your shifts, and we offer transport and accommodation for our staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer all F&B room service order calls as per hotel standards.
• Maintain proper grooming and a professional appearance at all times.
• Attend training classes as scheduled to improve skills.
• Cooperate with team members and other departments.
• Be aware of daily activities and hotel facilities to assist guests.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
• Ensure product standards are followed during order taking.
• Address guests appropriately during calls to enhance their experience.

Requirements

• Must be responsible and reliable in all tasks.
• Ability to work well in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
• Organizational skills to manage multiple orders.
• Previous F&B experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Micros or similar systems is beneficial.
