Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Lagos HQ + Nationwide Travel
Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Head of Sales / Sales Director

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our range of products (snacks, cereals, packaged staple-food) portfolio across Nigeria.
To drive revenue growth via market expansion for our existing SKUs and successfully launch new products in New Local governments/ New markets. The BDM will recruit and onboard new distributor for existing SKUs.

Job Focus

Own monthly revenue target for assigned region/zone for new customers.
Acquiring new distributors across key states and cities.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to plan launch strategy: pricing, pack, promo, trade offer.
Execute GTM (Go To Market) distributor training, launch events, market storm, POSM deployment.
Develop and executive quarterly business plans for market expansion and customer recruitment.

Experience and Requirements

B.Sc/HND in Business, Marketing, or related field.
6-8 years FMCG Sales experience, minimum 2 years as BDM/ASM in Foods, Snacks, Spices & Ingredient or Staple/Grain Foods.
Proven track record: Managed 1 billion+ portfolio and launched 2+ new SKUs.
Strong distributor network and MT contacts across Nigeria.
Must have managed team of 5+ sales reps/ASM.
Excellent negotiation, data analysis, and presentation skills.
Willing to travel 80% of the time.

Salary
N400,000 - N700,000 monthly.

Strong distributor network and modern trade contacts across Nigeria.
Experience managing a team of 5 or more sales representatives or ASMs.
Excellent negotiation, data analysis, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
