Business Development Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and promoting our background verification services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, events, and digital channels.
• Develop and manage an active sales pipeline.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
• Develop sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare and deliver client proposals and presentations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in any relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience in consulting.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Completed NYSC with a Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
